Buying a House in Luxembourg

Buying a house in Luxembourg is more difficult than we thought… As I wrote before on a previous post: Finding a place to live in Luxembourg the market in Luxembourg is different than in many countries, here there is a lot of demand for real state properties (houses and apartments) and not a lot of offer, specially in Luxembourg city. Eventoria Luxembourg 2013

Yesterday I was with my colleagues from work at an event in Luxembourg called Eventoria, this is a trade show event, for all the marketers and event planners in Luxembourg to network with similar people in the same industry. The event was in the Parc Hotel in Dommeldange, just 5 minutes from home. Even though I always thought this venue was really old fashioned, I quite liked the inside of it. My favorite dress!

I guess everybody has a favorite item in their own closet right? Today I will write about mine. My favorite item is a turquoise dress, I don’t really know why I like it so much, maybe is because it was a gift from my mother in law, maybe because it is turquoise which is one of my favorite colors, or maybe because it has some embroidery in many different colors that reminds me of Mexico? Printed Tights!

I’ve been seeing lately many pictures around in blogs and other websites of outfits included printed tights! I think it is a good idea to be a little bit creative and add a twist to the standard tight colors and patterns, sometimes I think in some outfits the use of printed tights is exaggerated, specially when the clothes already include a pattern and the tights have an extra pattern, at the end is too much mixed patterns, however I think that the idea of wearing printed tights is really cool when the rest of the clothes are simple and plain, normally I wouldn’t mix more than two colors in a single outfit when wearing this tights, but it depends on the taste of every person.Continue reading “Printed Tights!”

Christmas 2012 Photoshooting

The Christmas of December 2012, was the first year that I didn’t spend it in Mexico, this was really strange for me, since I am used to celebrating for many days these special holidays with the “posadas”, big family reunions, lot’s of christmas gifts exchanges with friends, etc. In Luxembourg I have to say that it is very different, even if it is nice to have snow, christmas markets, hot wine and other things, when it comes to party, people and family, it is not the same thing. Outfit for a Sunny Day in the City

Today I would like to remember how people can dress in cities like Mexico city where it is most of the time sunny and with good weather. In Mexico city you don’t need to be covered with tights, coats, leggins and other simmilar things, you can just walk down the street with a nice short dress and some sandals and you won’t be freezing.

In this outfit I wanted to match light brown, beige and cream colors, I choose a cream dress, with beige sandals and brown accessories. What do you think about it?

Social Shopping – Polyvore

I started being really interested in this term and I began using Polyvore since I started working, as a tool to have planned what I will wear everyday, even if it is not meant to work for this, for me it is really hard to stand up everyday in the morning and try to make up the outfit of the day. Normally at 6:30 in the morning I have not a lot of motivation, I lack inspiration and all I want to do is go back to bed, so how am I suppose to choose a nice outfit in 5 minutes??
