Some weeks ago, I was lucky to meet two very interesting persons, Avy and Damien, who together were working on a fashion online store project together, I get ver excited every time I meet young people like them, who are able to create something big from a dream and work very hard on their startup business, I wish I could learn more from them. So anyway, yesterday was the launch party of their startup project: Show Style, a new fashion store in Luxembourg which just started a few weeks ago.Continue reading “ShowStyle Launch Party”
Vianden is a medieval city in the north est of Luxembourg, around 50KM from Luxembourg city. In this city there is the biggest castle in Luxembourg and one of the biggest castles in Europe. If you have not visited the Castle of Vianden I strongly recommend to visit it, the best time to visit would be in the city’s Medieval Festival, as there are some shows in the castle and the whole city is full of people dressed in a medieval style, markets, food and drinks. For more information you can visit the official website of the city here.Continue reading “To visit: Amazing Swimming Pool in Vianden”
If you love to play volleyball and are looking for something different to do during summer in Luxembourg, I can recommend you to join a Beach Volleyball tournament. I know many people don’t like the cold weather but since I come from Mexico and there it is almost all the time sunny, I appreciate when we have cold weather, so we can have a change. Cold weather is nice because it snows, and the city becomes beautiful. It is also nice because you get to put on the chiminee, drink hot wine or hot chocolate and wear different clothes.Continue reading “Favorite Winter Outfits via Pinterest!”
It is time for fall outfits! This year we were really lucky in Luxembourg because the summer has stayed longer, it is the end of September and we still have sun and warm days! That’s amazing!! Anyway, i think this miracle will not last so long, so I wanted to prepare for fall, and start checking some fall outfits for inspiration, I prefer to prepare my closet so when it starts to be colder and the rain comes, I already have in mind what to wear.Continue reading “Favorite Outfits for Fall via Pinterest”
Buying a house in Luxembourg is more difficult than we thought… As I wrote before on a previous post: Finding a place to live in Luxembourg the market in Luxembourg is different than in many countries, here there is a lot of demand for real state properties (houses and apartments) and not a lot of offer, specially in Luxembourg city. Anyway we were not going to give up, we have been looking for a property to buy almost since we arrived to Luxembourg, this is already 2 years ago and I had hope that we will find something if we keep strong.Continue reading “Buying a House in Luxembourg”
Yesterday I was with my colleagues from work at an event in Luxembourg called Eventoria, this is a trade show event, for all the marketers and event planners in Luxembourg to network with similar people in the same industry. The event was in the Parc Hotel in Dommeldange, just 5 minutes from home. Even though I always thought this venue was really old fashioned, I quite liked the inside of it. I never realized that the exterior or the hotel is pretty old, but in the interior it looks very modern since they have been doing renovation works lately.Continue reading “Eventoria Luxembourg 2013”
For Christmas 2012, we did not want to spend much money on Christmas decorations so I decided to make them on my own with the help of some leaves from the forest, here are the results:Continue reading “Create your own Christmas decorations”
Today I would like to remember how people can dress in cities like Mexico city where it is most of the time sunny and with good weather. In Mexico city you don’t need to be covered with tights, coats, leggins and other simmilar things, you can just walk down the street with a nice short dress and some sandals and you won’t be freezing.
In this outfit I wanted to match light brown, beige and cream colors, I choose a cream dress, with beige sandals and brown accessories. What do you think about it?
One of the traditions of Luxembourg is to celebrate the Carnaval or Kavalkade. It was the first time I was going to attend an event like these and I didn’t know what to expect.Continue reading “Carnaval / Kavalkade in Diekirch”
